Newton Senior High School Night of Jazz set for Friday

The Newton Senior High School Band Department’s annual Night of Jazz will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the high school Center for Performance.

The Berg Middle School Jazz Band will start the evening, and the Newton Senior High School Jazz Lab will perform three selections. Then the Newton High School Jazz Ensemble, along with the Iowa State University Jazz Ensemble One, will perform.

Dessert will be served at the conclusion of the concert in the high school cafeteria area. Admission to the concert is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
