Soup supper set for Saturday 
to benefit firefighter tribute

R&J’s Bar and Grill in Kellogg is hosting a soup supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday to help raise funds for the Newton Firefighter Tribute, a sculpture that will depict two firefighters rescuing a toddler from a burning building.

Cost is $7 per person. Menu items include soup, sandwiches, chips and dessert. A raffle drawing will be at 8 p.m. and a cash-only bar.

The statue will stand at the east entrance of the Newton Fire Department below the American flag.
