Lenten services begin Feb. 26 at Howard Street Christian Church

The Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax is hosting Lenten services every Sunday from Feb. 26 to April 1.

Bible study will begin at 4 p.m. followed by a fellowship time at 5:15 p.m. and then a concert at 6 p.m. each Sunday. Highway Home of Kellogg and the Bluegrass Band of Newton will perform Feb. 26. Additional bands include Headin’ Home of Colfax on March 4, Tom Brown and Phil Hague of Des Moines on March 11, Sharon Bethel Quartet on March 18, Loy Nachans of Winterset on March 25 and Journey Bound on April 1. Freewill offerings will be accepted.
